Mountain Dew Rock
Scientology aside, BECK used to be the coolest kid in the early nineties, and he's still my personal hero. Nothing beats lo-fi experimental 90s indie/rap/rock/garage/country...
Watch this HERE and be inspired
And for anyone else who's favourite album is still Mellow Gold, then theres this really great documentary about it HERE

SIMPLE LIFE
(how to be happy with what you have)
For my self-directed study I am investigating the theme of 'Simplicity' and 'Contentment'... How dependent are we on all the conveniences and luxuries of the modern world, and do they actually make us any happier?
A lecture by Dan Gilbert HERE investigates the idea that we can synthesise happiness and that, in the long run our situation has little effect upon our overall happiness.
If you threw away everything you owned, how quickly would you be able to accept your new situation and learn to be happy without missing anything you lost?
This book is an investigation into trying to identify your most important possessions, and challenges your dependence on them

Jacques, a Robin
I've been taking promo shots for Bristol based musician Davide Ariasso aka Jacques, a Robin.
His music is very folky, ethereal and otherworldly... Debut album to be released sometime around October.
I wanted to create something similar to the double exposure photos made before, but experimented with creating these effects in photoshop. The results are similar, but a bit more focused.
