Putting the Hart into Hartcliffe...

Poster project, we were sent to different suburbs of Bristol (In my case, Hartcliffe) and set to take 10 statements from local residents giving their opinions on the area. This information then had to be designed into an A2 poster which would fold down to A5.

Whats all this nonsense?

Heres the flyer for the 3 day exhibition were putting on in my new house. It showcases work from a few different pathways at UWE and invites people to leave comments next to the work, if youre in the area why not drop by? Promises to be pretty Rood.

Some taken from direct observation, others from old photos bought in Brighton. Astute followers will notice the last one is in fact a study for that canvas I posted earlier. Feel the need to do some more painting, maybe as an accompaniment to a 'zine...

Painting on a canvas.

Painting I did over Easter, now hanging in the cellar at my parents house. Was good to do some 'art' art and not just more design work. You can see how this is a development on the sketchbook piece in my first post, couldnt decide what to have this guy saying though, so just left it blank. I guess the garbled speech bubble says enough.
If I can get more canvases which dont break me financially, expect some more of this!
